MecFax features

• Super G3/ 33.6Kbps fax speed *
  Thanks to the Super G3 standard support, MecFax transmits at a V.34 33.6 Kbps speed, approximately three seconds per page.
• JBIG Fax compression *
  JBIG compression is far more efficient than MMR technology. Fax transmissions with JBIG compression can reach about 2.6 seconds per page *.
• T.38 Fax over IP
  Faxes sent via the IP network avoid the PSTN: your calls will be shorter and cheaper.
• Print to fax
  MecFax allows you to compose a fax from any application with printing capabilities. To create and send a fax, you just have to "print" a document from the application you are using. Sending fax is as easy as printing them.
• PBX integration
  MecFax is compatible with DTMF code generated from a PBX system. Fax can be delivered using PBX settings or analog DID/DDI services.
• Fax to folder
  Every fax, sent and received, can be stored in shared folders specified by the user.
• Fax to printer
  Received faxes can be sent directly via network to a printer.
• Fax queue
  MecFax is able to manage fax queues. Every fax is defined by a priority code. Urgent faxes will be sent as soon as a free line is available.
• Scheduled fax delivery
  Faxes can be scheduled for delivery, according to user preferences.
  
• Fax broadcast
  Fax documents can be sent to a number of different users. Fax broadcast results can be exported to Excel spreadsheets.
• Fax resend
  In case of busy line or no answer signal, MecFax will queue the delivery. MecFax software allows to set the number of maximum retry attempts.
• Inbound fax routing
  MecFax manages incoming faxes based on the sender. Based on the fax ID, the incoming fax is automatically rerouted to the mailbox of a defined user. If the sender lacks an ID or is unknown to the system, the fax will be automatically sent to the administrator. Administrators can manage the CSID for outgoing faxes.
• Fax redirect
  Faxes can be transferred or redirected to multiple users.
• Fax transmission status
  The system shows the fax transmission status and notifies the user when a delivery is completed or when a fax is received.
• Fax to e-mail
  All received fax will automatically end in the recipient's folder. Faxes can also be received as e-mail attachments.
• E-mail to fax
  Faxes can be sent from any computer connected to the Internet. You just need to attach a documento to an e-mail and MecFax will automatically convert the e-mail into a fax, ready to be sent.
  
• User management
  Administrators can manage user accounts, set passwords, permissions and attributes.
• Address book
  MecFax address books can be private or shared between users. Contacts may be grouped together into lists for rapid fax delivery to multiple recipients.
  
• Automatic IP dial up
  Every user can be assigned to an IP number. The system automatically uses the preset IPs, saving communication costs.
• Cover and page header
  The system automatically adds a page header to every fax, according to the user settings.
• System log
  MecFax keeps many logs: administrators can see user login logs, outgoing and incoming fax communications, etc. Every log can be exported as an Excel spreadsheet.
• Fax backup
  MecFax stores sent and received faxes to a backup folder set by the administrators.
  
• Fax monitoring
  Administrators can monitor all incoming or outgoing fax traffic.
